  • A virtual account per user
  • Real-time fiat payouts
  • USDC and USDT on Ethereum and Tron

The challenge

What makes fiat hard for crypto platforms

Four problems that exchanges and digital-asset platforms face on the fiat side of the business.

What gets in the way

  • Deposits you cannot attributeWhen users transfer from their banks, each deposit has to be tied to the right account fast, or support queues grow and funds sit unmatched.
  • Withdrawals that must keep paceUsers expect fiat withdrawals at any hour. Batch files and bank cut-offs do not match a market that never closes.
  • Compliance at every stepExchanges are scrutinized by banks and rails. Providers need due diligence on you, clear controls, approvals and an audit trail on every movement.
  • Moving between fiat and stablecoinsTreasury teams juggle local currency, USD and stablecoins, with different cut-offs and rails for each.

How Localpayment addresses it

  • A personal virtual account per userCVU, CLABE, Pix key, Bre-B key or CCI issued by API. Every transfer arrives with a signed webhook already attributed to the user, so deposits are credited without manual matching.
  • Fiat withdrawals on real-time rails, 24/7Pix, SPEI, COELSA, TEF, CCE and Bre-B confirm in seconds, weekends included, with account validation before sending and proof of payment after.
  • Controls built for scrutinyCompliance review before production, double-signature approval on payouts, RBAC, IP allow-listing and HMAC-signed webhooks. PCI DSS v4.0.1 and ISO 27001 certified, with a SOC 2 Type II report.
  • One account for fiat and stablecoin treasuryFund with a wire or with USDC and USDT on Ethereum and Tron, convert within local market hours with a locked quote, and withdraw to allow-listed wallets.

Frequently asked questions

Do you buy or sell crypto for our users?

No. Localpayment provides payment rails to your business: fiat pay-ins and payouts, plus stablecoin funding and withdrawals for your own account. It does not run an end-user on/off ramp, trade assets or give investment advice.

Which stablecoins and networks are supported?

USDC and USDT on Ethereum and Tron only. Stablecoin Wire In is detected and credited automatically, usually 2–10 minutes after confirmation. Wire Out goes to wallet addresses allow-listed with compliance approval.

What compliance checks apply to us?

Onboarding includes a compliance review (due diligence or enhanced due diligence) and business verification before production credentials. Payouts support double-signature approval. Localpayment is PCI DSS v4.0.1 and ISO 27001 certified, with a SOC 2 Type II report.

Can users deposit cash?

No. Virtual accounts accept electronic transfers only; cash deposits are not credited.

How do we allow-list a wallet for stablecoin Wire Out?

Wallet addresses are registered in advance and approved by compliance before the first withdrawal. Wire Out only goes to those allow-listed addresses, on Ethereum or Tron, with a signed webhook on every status change.

Can we convert local currency to USD or stablecoins?

Local-currency balances convert to USD and other hard currencies within local market hours, with a quote token to lock the rate. USDC and USDT are available for funding and withdrawing your own account on Ethereum and Tron.

What limits apply to fiat withdrawals?

Limits depend on the rail and country. Real-time payouts in Chile run up to CLP 7,000,000 and in Peru up to PEN 30,000 per transfer; above that the payout settles through the standard rail. Each method page lists its limits.
