Why Localpayment
Everything a finance team needs for large tickets
Bank transfer is how large amounts move in Latin America. We make every transfer identifiable, fast and controlled.
Every transfer matched to its invoice
Give each buyer or invoice a dedicated CLABE, CVU, CCI, Pix key or IBAN. No lost references or manual matching: a webhook confirms each deposit with the amount and payer details.
Every transfer matched to its invoice —Local collection, in local currency or USD
The buyer pays from their local bank, with no correspondent banks or fees at both ends; real-time rails such as SPEI, Pix and TEF confirm in seconds, 24/7. Receive USD over SPID in Mexico and through USD accounts in Peru and Costa Rica.
Supplier payouts above instant-rail limits
TEF High-Value in Chile, LBTR in Peru and SIPAP High-Value in Paraguay, in real time, 24/7 before any payout leaves your account and proof of payment for suppliers and auditors.
Supplier payouts above instant-rail limits —Multi-currency treasury under control
Hold balances, transfer between your accounts across countries and convert into USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, NZD, CHF, USDC or USDT at a locked rate, within local market hours. Wire In to fund; Wire Out only to your own verified accounts or allow-listed wallets.

}'Industry FAQ
What counts as a high-value payment?
Anything that cards, installments or instant-rail limits don’t carry comfortably: wholesale orders, B2B invoices, equipment, tuition. Each rail has its own limits, and our team maps them to your ticket sizes.
Can buyers pay in US dollars?
In Mexico, virtual accounts can receive USD over SPID. Peru (CCI USD) and Costa Rica (IBAN USD) also offer USD accounts. Elsewhere, buyers pay in local currency and you convert into USD within market hours.
How do I pay suppliers above the instant-rail limits?
SPEI in Mexico has no maximum amount. In Chile, TEF above CLP 7,000,000 goes out as TEF high-value the same day; in Peru, amounts above PEN 30,000 go over LBTR; in Paraguay, SIPAP high-value covers amounts above PYG 5,000,000. You call the same POST /api/payout/ and we route by amount.
How do double-signature approvals work?
When enabled, payouts wait in Pending Authorization until a second user approves them in the Business Portal or your system calls the authorization endpoint. The requester and the approver are different users.
Can I pay many suppliers at once?
Yes. Send payouts in batches by API. Each payout keeps its own externalId and status, double signature applies to the batch, and a proof of payment is available for every completed item.
Can I send funds to a third party abroad?
No. Wire Out sends funds only to your own external bank account or to allow-listed stablecoin wallets. Payments to third parties go through local payouts.
How is FX priced?
FX terms are set in your commercial agreement. Before each conversion you request a quote, see the exact rate and can lock it with a quote token, within local market hours.
How does reconciliation work with hundreds of open invoices?
Each invoice has its own virtual account and your own externalId, so every deposit is matched on arrival and confirmed by a signed webhook. Balance, activity and reconciliation data are available by API and as exports from the Business Portal.
