How a debit runs
- 01
Create the mandate
POST /api/payin/mandates with an Idempotency-Key. The payer authorizes at their bank.
- 02
Open the subscription
POST /api/payin/subscriptions with payment method A2A and the mandate id.
- 03
Collect and settle
Scheduled debits move through the rail. You reconcile FUNDS_AVAILABLE and SETTLED in one report.

Where can I use A2A direct debit?
Brazil, through Pix Automático, and Colombia, through automatic debit on the local ACH. Talk to sales about any other market.
Does the payer need a card?
No. They authorize the debit once from their bank and can cancel it when they want.
What happens when a debit does not collect?
We retry. If the subscription continues on a card, it stays on the same integration.
