Consumer experience
What your customer sees with TransfiYa
Authorization, limits and refunds as documented on docs.localpayment.com. Limits are shown only where the documentation states them.
How the customer authorizes
The beneficiary does nothing: your platform sends the payout with their name, document and mobile number (TransfiYa) or Bre-B key, and the money appears in their bank account or wallet in real time. If your account requires approval, a second user signs off in the Business Portal before the funds leave.
Documented limits
TransfiYa (Payout): COP 40 – 50,000,000 · Bre-B key (Payout): COP 1 – 11,552,000 · Bank transfer (ACH) (Payout): Min. COP 40, no maximum. Per transaction, as published in the documentation; contractual limits may differ.
Refunds and returns
If the beneficiary bank rejects a completed payout days later (closed or invalid account), the funds come back to your Localpayment balance and the payout moves to Returned, notified by webhook. A recall for wrong beneficiary data is a manual request to our operations team and is not guaranteed.

FAQ
TransfiYa: frequently asked questions
How fast is a TransfiYa payout?
TransfiYa is documented as a real-time payout method. The payout status moves from Locked to In Progress and the final result reaches you by signed webhook.
What is the maximum amount?
The documented maximum is COP 50,000,000 per transfer. See the key facts table above and confirm your limits with your account manager.
What other payout rails are available in Colombia?
Besides TransfiYa you can pay Bre-B keys in real time, 24/7 (up to COP 11,552,000) and use ACH for same-day or T+1 transfers, with a 15:00 local cut-off.
What do I need from the beneficiary for a TransfiYa payout?
Name, document type and number, and the mobile number registered with their bank or wallet. For a Bre-B key payout you pass the key in beneficiary.bank.account.alias instead and omit the account number.
Can I cancel a payout after sending it?
Yes while it is in Pending Authorization, Received, Locked or On Hold. Once it moves to In Progress it has been sent to the network and can no longer be canceled.
What happens if the account is closed?
If the beneficiary bank rejects the payment after completion, the payout moves to Returned and the funds come back to your Localpayment balance, notified by webhook.
When should I use ACH instead?
For amounts above the real-time limits in the key facts table, or when the beneficiary only has a traditional account number; ACH settles same day or T+1 with a 15:00 cut-off.
